Mustard seed saving

I’m sat outside on the patio popping seed pods of Mustard Red Giant. There are thousands of seeds!

    1. I have lots here now! You can get different types of mustard from most seed catalogues here. It’s funny, when you hear ‘mustard’ you think of Dijon, or maybe yellow squirty stuff on an American hotdog. It has so many uses as a plant. The young leaves of Red Giant are tasty, they brighten and spice up a salad. Mustard is good as a green manure too, grown then dug back into the ground to add nutrients and goodness. I hadn’t heard of the washing detergent before though! I hope you find a source soon, it may even be growing wild.
