We’re traveling to Cornwall for a week away climbing. The peas are climbing up their spiky twiggy friends, coriander loving the heat of late, & the salad leaves are almost an edible size.
Having potted up (most of) the chili plants last Saturday, they’ve enjoyed the 20 degree+ warmth of our utility. I had to bring the pumpkins in, away from the hungry mouths of the slimy fiends. Seemingly, it was a good decision – I’m sure I saw a tiny flower bud on one!
Here’s hoping for no casualties whilst we’re away; there’s no friend in place to do the watering. Both of the species inside are native to hot, dry climates. The theory says it will be fine. I’m not worried.
